heatwave

Seems that summer is here to stay but that won't stop me from wearing dark colors. The heat may, however, continue to cause me grief with my hair -- in particular, with my fringe sticking to my forehead. It's my first summer with bangs in a long time and I'd forgotten all about this unfortunate phenomena.  Luckily, they held up ok for these shots but I'm sure there will be a few sweaty disheveled photo-shoots in my near future!

It's not all bad though, I've been clocking so serious hammock-time and perhaps remedied my Vitamin D deficiency at the same time.

Is it really so strange?

So kiddies...this is one of the amazing frocks I bought on the opening day of The Loved One shop that I've been going on and on about! I am a bit smitten with it to tell the truth. I adore navy and I've been trying to buy more blue-hued things for my wardrobe. Good start, I say!

I was still pretty under the weather when we took these pictures but I am starting to think I'm getting over this cough/flu bug that I caught last weekend. Who gets colds in the Summer?! Apparently me.

it's...the happiest place on earth!

Recently, I took a trip to Disneyland (which located is about 45 minutes outside of Los Angeles, in case you were curious). I've been many times but it never gets old to me. Here are a few pictures we snapped...
