I've been seeing a lot of these Blogiversary posts lately - I think it's because the days are longer in the summer so more people find themselves ready to start up a new project or blog in the summertime. This is just my theory anyway. But I do apologize that you have to skim through yet another (mildly self-congratulatory) blog anniversary post...But...
It has officially been one year since I started this little blog! I have to stop and give myself a pat on the back for keeping it going twelve whole months without missing more than, I think, 4 days or so. Yay me! (that would be the self-congratulatory bit)
When I started I really didn't have a clue how long I would keep it up. For someone as busy as me, a year of continuous blogging is quite a feat but truthfully I would love to (and will) do more with Don Juan's Reckless Daughter. I don't want to make any specific promises because that can be a deadly trap for me but I will tell you to please keep popping by because there will be lots more to come in the second Act.
SO, I'm sure you're wondering (ehem) "What on earth can I get DJRD to help ring in the next year of fabulous blogging???" WELL...funny you should ask...as a blogiversary present you can simply leave a comment or better yet link my blog on your own blog - that's the best virtual gift I can think of!
But seriously, thank you all so much for your comments, support and most of all your own blogs for continually inspiring me even on my most uninspired days!
and now, a video to share but don't worry love has not actually left the room, I just like the song! and its another great video by the Belles of the Black Diamond Field!
