I came across the following 90s Vogue Editorial inspired by one of my favorite films, À bout de souffle (aka Breathless) on one of my new favorite blogs, See Emily Play. Fitting because a month or so ago I was lucky enough to see a screening of the film's new 50th Anniversary print at the TMC Film Festival and Jean-Paul Belmondo (the films star, now 77!) was there for an interview. The film has it's never looked better - I think they are releasing it on DVD in the near future too. Of course, there is no one else like Jean Seberg but this Editorial is a great tribute to her and to the film...

I should also mention that the lovely ladies of Rodarte have collaborated with Rialto films and created limited edition t-shirts and movie posters in commemoration of the 50th anniversary! One more reason to love the Sisters Mulleavy! But I have to say, I think the t-shirt could have been much better. I made my own years ago, it's awesome and it cost about 10x less than theirs. Oh well, I still love them!

I adore this and hate it all at once! why hate? well cause it makes me want to cut my hair! lol ;o)
OH my! This is so awesome! I wish I could have a Jean-esque pixie hair cut. That's hilarious that Jean-Paul was there. He has some hot young mama now for a wife, of course.
And the tshirt! I've always wanted one of those. My friend made one herself to dress up as Jean for Halloween.
And See Emily Play! What a great new blog to follow.
Ohhhhh! I want to speak French! So lovely to the ears.
