I don't know what it is with Ms. Faithfull but even though I really don't care for her singing voice (aside from Broken English - circa 1979) her beauty and style have always appealed to me. I actually feel guilty for not liking the music more!
The hair and 60s baby doll dresses and then the late 60s menswear, so good! She was the epitome of London cool (and still is for that matter). That being said, I've heard she's lived a pretty crazy life and that it is well very documented in her autobiography FAITHFULL. I'm actually kind of scared to read it for fear that it will taint my love of her and these...(all images from flickr and/or my computer)

She is indeed so cool! Love these photo's
I don't have many fashion icons but she is one of the few people I consider to be one. I did a post on her a long time ago which was my only post ever dedicated to an icon. I'm happy to see someone else recognizes how amazing she is!
Love this post, she had such incredible style.
And that first photo of her is just amazing.
I must listen to more of her music!
xoxo
Marianne Faithfull has long been a style icon for me as well. I read her autobiography "Faithfull" last winter and it is terrific. I think it will make you like her more, not less. She is hilarious, and very quotable.
She's fantastic. One of my.. muses of inspiration, haha.
