I don't think I have mentioned this yet but the day after Christmas I am off to England for a couple of weeks to visit friends in London and "the brit's" family in Cornwall (southwest england).
paper hats my favorite UK holiday tradition
While I am super excited, I am also a little anxiety-ridden for several reasons including but not limited to:sending the last of my Christmas cards off
getting the remaining presents for my fam & friends
packing to go home for 2 days then packing for the UK for 2 weeks!
arranging pet sitting person for the pups
praying the rain stops long enough for me to drive to and from my parents and not miss my flight on Friday!
I think I'm going to faint...
This coupled with my ridiculous and fairly recently founded fear of flying in planes for more than 2 hours at a time is enough to send me screaming for some sort of Hypnosis Therapy - but I will overcome!
I will definitely try to post as much as I can while in the UK. I am bringing Ye Ol' MacBook but we'll see how the Internet connection goes.
In the meantime - how do you pack for winter trips? I'm currently having "packer's block" so suggestions would be greatly appreciated. for example - how many coats, scarves and gloves?

Good luck with all your last minute errands and packing. I wish I had good packing advice but I suffer from packers' block myself every time I pack. I guess my best tip is that if you're missing anything really important, I'm sure it won't be difficult to replace it in England.
I know! :) topshop anyone?
