I posted the above quote on my tumblr this morning and it got me thinking; If there is any exception to this rule it's got to be Jane Birkin - queen of minimalists, proprietor of barely-there clothing, and yet some how she managed (and still does) to look incredible, basically, all the time.
(two classic examples below).
I'm actually pretty shocked that I've yet to do a Jane-themed post, but then, it is something that has been done before on many blogs so it was all about timing! Hopefully, you lovely readers won't be bored even though a few of these images have been around the block. I tired to dig up a few obscure ones.

re:It's ridiculous, indeed, and to make it sound even more outrageous they say they regard as "western countries" only countries with good economical status, and neither japan or south korea are listed, but Romania, Bulgaria and others ex soviet union nations are. I mean..hello! The worst thing is they refer to the immigrantes from "non western" lands, including Brazil, as people who will have a veeeeery hard time integrating to the danish society, in short, they actually mean we're non civilized people. lol I suppose these polls and stuff are all based on European Union's conceptions. They should review their own prejudices and study geopolitics. hehe

I do love her look. It is interesting how someone with very little style (in the meaning of little clothes) makes such an impression on people.
