out in the park...

Earlier this week "the Brit" and I ventured over to my old neighborhood (Los Feliz) with the pups and took a little stroll on one of the seemingly infinite trails at Griffith Park. I have to say, one of the best and most surprising things about LA is that you can find "nature" in unexpected places.  There are so many parks and hiking spots to choose from - though, I'm afraid, I am hardly an expert on this subject. Anyhow, it turned out to be a rather hot day and my pint-sized K9s can only go so far on their own paws so this was not an epic hike by any means. None the less it was wonderful to get outside...

 

 

we ended with an impromptu picnic in the shade of some huge trees - phew....we need to get out more.
