four-eyed girl

Recently, the Brit and I went to Confederacy in Los Feliz too look at some Warby Parker frames for him. The ones he wanted to try on actually ended up looking better on me ;) so I thought I would tag along with him to the eye doctor to see if my vision had changed since my last eye exam a few years back.  Generally, I have pretty good eye-sight but (as many of you internet loving people may have experienced) my eyes have started feeling pretty strained by the end of the day - plus I do have a slight astigmatism in one eye.  Turns out I still really only need these for night driving or if my eyes are tired from computers, movie screens, reading, etc... but I like them a lot so I may actually end up wearing these ones!  I definitely recommend Warby Parker (this is not a sponsored post by the by) - the whole experience of ordering with them was super easy and fast. How about you? Do you wear glasses?

glasses have ruled my life since I was 10. But I never let them rule my life until I was 16 when I got my first pair of contact lenses and realised that the leave son trees are supposed to look singular not like a mass of blurred green.
I wore contacts every day up until like almost two years ago I suppose, when I finally got some sweet sweet frames.
I'm always a bit torn though because I feel like my glasses are really me, but I'd love to get another pair so that I am not defined by just one pair of glasses, you know?
Your lucky that you can just wear them for driving and when you feel like :) though being forced to wear them, on day's I hate them some stranger always tells me how cool they are.
Either way, I like the ones you are wearing!

@jessicat A friend of mine had that same issue - she had some really cool black cat-eye frames (she was almost legally blind with out them) but started to feel a bit "defined" by them look-wise.  I think it's good to have a couple of pairs if you have to wear them everyday.  :) just like shoes and bags, you know!

love those! i've always been jealous of girls who wear glasses, i've never needed any and i guess i'm lucky! but i've always wanted to wear them and feel stupid wearing ones with no prescription. my son has to wear them because of a lazy eye we are trying to correct and he hates them, so i got a pair of fake ones so he wouldn't feel alone! now i have an excuse to wear non-presciption ones!

These glasses look pretty beautiful on you. I also wanted to say that there's something very Kirsten Dunst-esque about you, which of course is a compliment.
