Get up and run away with it

Confession time, I have been wearing this Chambray dress almost non-stop since I bought it last week.  I don't tend to re-run my dresses so close together. ever. however, this one seems to be an exception, and I have a feeling I know why. You see, ever since I first gazed upon this dress last year I've been lusting after it. But I somehow missed it when it went on sale and it just never happend for me. So, when I found this dress stashed on a random rack in XXI, even though it was a size too big, my heart skipped a beat. Ok, so it's not quite as cute as the pitch perfect blue Lover dress but it's clearly not a bad substitue!  By the time I got around to this work-friendly outfit I had already worn the dress twice but didn't manage to snap a picture of the other two outfits, unfortunately, so this will have to suffice.

Now that the weekend is here, I thought I'd post an outfit I wore to work earlier in the week. Makes sense, right? ;) Well, nonsensical is one of my specialties so why not!  (I took these at the end of my workday - hence the slightly disheveled look I'm sporting...)
