I hate to complain about the weather because it's a bit played out in the blogoshpere (albeit relevant when discussing fashion) but man, was it hot in LA over the weekend! We live in a small house that was built in the 1920s and it only has one window AC in the bedroom - suffice to say, that's where we spent the majority of our time.
Clothing wise, the smaller the amount the better. I'm not a fan of my clothes sticking to me (and really, who is? ) which is why I ended up in this vintage onesie with my hair in a (very) messy bun yesterday morning. It wasn't all bad though, "the Brit" disappeared for about 25minutes saying he had to go get something and then turned up with a brand new hammock; I had been asking for one since spring!
But truthfully, it was a bit too hot even sitting in the hammock and we only lasted 30 minutes or so.
*I'm about to fall out of it here - hence my weird pose & expression :)
outfit details:
onesie & scarf - vintage
belt & flats - uo
heart glasses - pop killer (on sunset)
necklace - gilt.com
So how is the weather in your neck of the woods, lovely people?
Now, a post title explanation and the perfect song for hot summer days...

I love love love that oufit! Its looks effortlessly chic!
awww lucky you! St John's Wood seemed like a lovely area and I though the Abbey Road crossing was so funny with all the tourists crossing the street haha I think that was one of the most amusing and shameful moments of my life when we crossed the street LOL
btw, I've loved what you said about the reality of blogging! I do try to take as much outfit pics as I can most to show that I haven't got a never-ending wardrobe and that I wear some things quite often because we're humans and nothing is unlimited in this world!
you've got such a nice blog :)
aw, thank you, Laia! x
I love your playsuit, your belt (or is it all together) and your scarf. Very good effort if it was as hot as you say!
Incidentally, I don't think a blogger's job is to show themself in absolutely everything. After all, magazines are hardly reality are they? And I hope that experimenting on my good days at least leaves me with some better ideas of what to reach for on my bad days!

I've been in the Philippines for a few years now and gosh, it is just so crazy hot here. I don't think I will ever get used to this kind of weather.

Such a cute entry, dear! It seems that you're having there a good time... here, at Barcelona, it's SO hot.... well, not so, but the humidity is so high that the sense of hot is really high :(
Lovely playsuit, that color looks great on you, you should use it more often!
I just found your blog through chictopia & it is absolutely delightful! Can't wait to explore your blog more, definitely following through bloglovin, but I am excited to find a new (to me) blogger who not only has great style, but within the first two pages mentions Jenny Lewis and the Decemberists! Nice!

This outfit is so adorable and I love the sunglasses.
The hammock picks are great as well...Brit sounds like a keeper :)
Weather wise: Nashville is always horrible in the summer. Humidity in the south is killer. But "we southern belles don't sweat, we glisten."
