On Friday night "the Brit" and company did a little acoustic gig at the uber cute Silver Lake shop Enid & Edgar Vintage. I immediately spotted this lacy shawl at the end of a rack and knew I needed to have it. I dubbed it my “Mexican Granny shawl” and proceeded to wear it around most of the weekend - including Saturday, when I wore it with this Audrey Hepburn in Funny Face/beatnik outfit consisting of a black top, black jeans & black (sparklie) brogues. Luckily, the shawl brought some white into the equation and made me feel a little less like an old woman in mourning.
Love the mexican granny shawl and holy moley you have a doppelganger in southern california, I know a girl that looks very similar to you (and she's a peach!) :)
oh i am definitely in a shawl moment myself right now. desperately searching for a gorgeous embroidered & fringed piano shawl that doesn't cost more than my car...wishful thinking.
