The night before my little sister (sadly not pictured - oops), Bean and I got started on the decorations. We may have gone the slightest bit overboard but, really, can you ever have too many streamers?
We also had plenty of nibbles ready for our guests...
including the most delicious cupcakes in the universe from Magnolia Bakery ( I don't even like cupcakes so this is saying something!)
And so, we were ready for our guests!sam & kristin appeared...
of course, "the Brit" and little lola were there (they didn't have to go far, they live with me).
Derek came too...
voila...c'est moi!I also had a special visitor who happened to be in town from NYC... little miss Sandra!
She was here visiting her boyfriend Ludvig who lives in LA now...
*Sandra took the above photo ^ and has posted some beautiful photos on her blog too.
We had set up a little photobooth in the kitchen so people could take their own pictures.
some of the photo-booth pictures...
We had a bit of a games theme around the house (which you may have noticed)Jenga, which I lost right after this photo was snapped.
fishing game
the pups watched us play...
The party lasted into the early morning hours. a success, by all accounts!

*thanks to Kristin for commandeering my camera so I could actually be in some of the photos ;)

oh my, that looks delightful! I love the streamers, and the photo booth, and the games, and well, how CUTE you all look! I want to bring back the dress-up box from my childhood and have lots of parties involving costumes and photo booths.
Seriously looks like so much fun! We've been talking about breaking out Twister during a party, but I guess I don't own it any more... shucks.
