mild-eyed mender

Just a quick little post before I run out to go watch "the Brit's" band! This week has just zipped by and I really meant to post these yesterday, alas, better late than not at all. As you can see, I've been sporting the milk-maid braids, a go-to hair do for summertime! But I have to admit they are a little more fun with bangs!
In keeping with my trying to wear a mix of new and old, here is my trusty heart-print dress (which is not vintage) paired with my blue 50s cardigan (which is).  I know, I know...I've been wearing these sandals too much but i LOVE them. But I promise next post I will be sporting different footwear! ...I think...
outfit details:
dress - marc by marc jacobs
shoes: hasbeens for h&m
cardigan - vintage

musical notes:

back soon with different shoes! Have a lovely weekend!

I've been wearing the same shoes in all recent posts too... but it's summer, and summer is all about wearing the same thing every day, IMO.  You look just lovely!

It is, isn't it! Though it might not make for very good style-blogging wearing the same thing for 3 months straight  ;)

I love the colour combination. Red white and blue is the best :D plus your hair looks pretty. I don't think mine is long enough to do that!

my hair seems to stay in some variation of a braid during the summer. lately, i've just been super lazy and twisting it on top of my head instead. i was certain that your dress is vintage - it's adorable!
