I happened to be scrounging around the Miu Miu website, like a hungry dog hoping for scraps, when I came across a marvelous gallery of past Ads. I guess I never realized the celebrity-centered campaigns started back in the earliest days of the label but I was even more so struck by how cool these ads remain years (or decades) on!
The Maggie Gyllenhaal campaign in 2004
is the first celebrity miu miu ad I remember seeing in magazines and it is still one of my favorites. She looks like a flapper after a crazy night in the Jazz Clubs and I love the lip color!
Of course, who doesn't love Kirsten's miu miu ads?! pure amazingness. Speaking of amazing, can you imagine Zooey D in a Miu Miu ad?! Would someone please get me on the phone to Miuccia asap!
To be fair, the non-celebrity ads are pretty incredible too!
