Happy Fourth of July to my American readers! I am not actually wearing this today - I wore it on Saturday but the color scheme seemed appropriate to save for today's post....
I've posted this dress many times in various "remixes" in the past but I haven't worn it too recently. It may even be new to you if you haven't been reading DJRD long. It reminds me of a costume from a Jean Luc Godard film which likely has something to do with me loving it so.
outfit details: dress --vintage bracelets --mix of vintage and new shoes -- swedish hasbeens for h&m
What a gorgeous vintage dress, the ribbon detail is giving me all kinds of ideas for add ons to my own dresses. Hope you had a great holiday weekend :) Also, I've been reading your blog for awhile and just wanted to make sure it was OK if I put a link in my blog roll. (One time someone got annoyed at me so now I just like to check in after adding it). Catchy song, I really like her voice.
That is a gorgeous vintage dress! I don't know that I have seen it before since I've only been following you (can we come up with a less creepy term PLEASE?!?!) for a month or so. I love the shoulders and the colors. Hope you had a great fourth!
haha that is a really odd term when you think about it. Like I might look over my shoulder and see a few hundred people lurking behind me ;) Anyhow, thanks for reading/commenting!
I don't think I remember this dress...or maybe it's just that you've remixed it in a way that seems new. Anyway, adorable and perfect choice for the July festivities. It's also a nice, subtle alternative to the American flag shirts and shorts--even though those can be quite awesome as well. I like the tune as well. Thanks for sharing :)

Thank you! and, of course, go ahead and add me to your links. I can't believe someone got annoyed about that. seems silly.
PS: the singer is Nina Persson (of the Cardigans) - A Camp is her new band.
